Description

This reputable business needs someone to handle full-cycle accounts payable, maintaining financial filing systems, reconciling statements and preparing various month-end reports in support of the accounting team. What you get to do every single day:
Code documents using the proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
Full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP)
Assist with general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
Resolve discrepancies, and create correction documents if needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts
Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources
Use various methods to add financial information to journals and ledgers
Assist with other related duties and special projects as assigned
Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000. This role is an hourly position, eligible for overtime. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision Insurances, Life and AD& D insurances, 401k w/ a 3% match, 52 hours of PTO in the first year (increases with tenure), 6 paid holidays and birthday pay/day off after the first year.
Requirements
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) required.
Adeptness in journal entries
Accounting operations experience
Data entry experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of reconciliations
General ledger experience
Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system preferred
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required
