What you'll do here:

  • Manage a team of cybersecurity and technical instructors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.

  • Develop, document and maintain Instructor standard methodologies associated with the varying delivery modalities.

  • Oversee Instructor performance, ensuring quality and consistency. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to instructors, identifying areas for improvement and professional development opportunities.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure concepts can be used as examples by Instructors

  • Collaborate with other departments on Instructor utilization needs outside of the classroom.

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address specific training needs or requirements.

  • Stay informed about changes in cybersecurity regulations, compliance standards, and industry certifications.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to cybersecurity training.

  • Stay ahead of emerging instructional technologies and methodologies, incorporating them into training programs as appropriate.

  • Conduct Team Training as needed

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 5+ years in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Education, or a related field

  • 3-5 Years of operational management experience.

  • Proven leadership and ability to empower and inspire a team of instructors.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to effectively convey complex and nuanced concepts for instructors to deploy given classroom situations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet timelines.

  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other instructional technologies.

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving cyber education landscape

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$101,900.00 - $163,000.00 USD
