Description
A reputable, BOUTIQUE CIVIL LITIGATION FIRM IN PORTLAND is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join their growing team. They represent plaintiffs in various areas of complex civil litigation, including trust and estate disputes, elder abuse, and insurance coverage. They are searching for a dedicated and dynamic professional to be a crucial part of their client-centered team.
Duties:
Prepare and finalize legal documents, letters, and correspondence
Keep the calendars and track deadlines
Provide administrative support to the team
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision with premiums fully covered; parking and cell phone reimbursement; participation in the company's 401(k) plan with 3% employer contribution; 37.5 hour work week, 17 days of paid time off and 10 holidays per calendar year.

Requirements
Qualifications:
3-4 years of civil litigation experience, trial experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Familiarity with local, state, and federal court rules and e-filing experience in Oregon state courts
Exceptional communication, grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
Expertise in prioritizing, managing time, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
