PORTLAND FULL-SERVICE LAW FIRM is seeking an effective and dynamic PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
This firm offers salaries up to $75,000 and excellent benefits, including 401(K) + 7% employer contribution and 100% MDV coverage.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and organize case files and maintain case management software.
Draft various types of correspondence including letters, emails, and faxes.
Request, organize, and manage relevant medical records and bills for personal injury cases.
Liaise with insurance companies for claim settlements and prepare settlement demands.
Diligently monitor case progress, ensuring timely completion of necessary actions.
Collaboratively work with a team of attorneys and respond appropriately to clients, co-workers, and management.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision (100% premiums paid by employer); transportation reimbursement; life insurance; participation in the company's 401(k) plan with 7% profit-share; 16 days of paid time off and paid holidays.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
Proficiency in the use of case management software.
Proven ability to multi-task, showing strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
