Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Portland, Oregon

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to join our client's team based in Portland, Oregon. This role is pivotal to the finance team and will require the candidate to have a strong understanding of budgeting and financial modeling. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be involved in the budgeting process and financial forecasting and will also be responsible for delivering month-end close analysis and presentations to executives. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support

• Develop and maintain budget processes

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Conduct detailed research and analysis of variances to assist in decision making

• Present financial insights and recommendations to management

• Collaborate with team members to understand and drive financial performance

• Assist in the development and implementation of financial models for business forecasting and analysis

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management as required

• Participate in the budgeting process and manage net sales budgets

• Provide financial analysis support to various areas of the company.

Requirements • Proficient in financial modeling and budgeting

• Ability to create and manage budget processes

• Expertise in finance and financial analysis

• Experience in forecasting and predicting financial trends

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Proven experience in a similar role as a Sr. Financial Analyst

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred

• Knowledge of financial software and databases is a plus

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
