Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prep cables and connectors for Potting and molding.
Priming of product with metal and jacket primer
Verification of quality
Mold and tooling care
Sets up machines and equipment; assures timely and accurate retrieval of necessary materials to maintain production levels; anticipates shortages in components by looking ahead and correcting.
Maintains time and production records on the line.
Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and working condition of equipment and tools.
Informs management of hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions in the work area.
Maintain Teledyne standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.
Job Specific Requirements:
· Prior experience with Precision Bench Assembly
· Basic understanding of blueprint reading and shop math
· Computer navigation skills with data entry experience a plus
Education and Experience:
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to apply common sense in performing job
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to use basic high school math skills
2-4 years cable assembly experience
Physical Demands:
Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. or more
Good vision including passing color blindness test
Work Environment:
Factory environment
Second Shift Monday- Thursday 2pm-12:30am
Personal Protective Equipment:
Use of safety glasses
Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers
