Galvion Manager, Enterprise Applications Systems in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

THE OPPORTUNITY

There currently exists a unique opportunity for someone to become our Manager of Enterprise Application Systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of ERP software for a multi-site, rapidly growing defense industry contractor. The role's primary focus is to ensure the seamless technical integration, configuration, optimization, and utilization of new ERP software.

SOME TRAVEL DURING THE WEEK TO NEWPORT, VT.

Travel will be required between Galvion facilities (Newport, VT, Portsmouth, NH, Marlborough, MA, Montreal)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to successfully transition Galvion to more efficient business application systems. Post implementation, the manager will ensure the efficient and effective operation of all Galvion enterprise application software and services.

YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO

• Conduct business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design for new enterprise resource planning software using general business acumen.

• Correlate the three business cycles into digital workflows within new ERP software.

• Collaborate with vendors and key stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver project requirements.

• Gather requirements and feedback to improve system standards, guidelines, and procedures.

• Plan and manage system upgrades, version updates, configuration management, and new module implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

• Oversee the integration of various third-party applications.

• Continuously evaluate application performance and identify areas of improvement / optimization.

• Collaborate with resources to integrate BI tools enabling real-time data analysis, reporting, and visualization of key business data.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• BS in Information Technology or Business Administration is required.

Minimum 10 years technical/functional experience with ERP Systems in a manufacturing environment (Infor Syteline a plus).

• ERP knowledge of functional areas (Accounting, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, etc).

• ERP implementation experience in the defense / aerospace industry a plus.

Multiple ERP integration projects within manufacturing (as SME/Project Manager).

• Strong understanding of ERP concepts, modules, and implementation methodologies.

• Proficient with Microsoft 365, PowerBI, Business Intelligence & Reporting.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and execute within the projected time constraints.

• Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
