Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Nursing House Supervisor (RN), you will work under the supervision of the Director of Patient Care Operations to assume the responsibility of personnel and patient care management. In this role you will play an integral part of the team that coordinates patient bed assignments, working with all levels of leadership throughout the facility.
In this role you will serve as a top advocate for patients and family in regard to decisions affecting the plan of care and working with institutional policies.
Based on patient assessment, you will help plan and implement care when needed.
Collaborating with staff regarding appropriate utilization of ancillary services will be one of your primary functions.
You will communicate with medical and nursing staff to determine bed placement based on patient acuity.
Promoting ongoing patient and family education in collaboration with the hospital staff will also be one of your job functions.
You will support the QI/QA process within the facility.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Associates degree required.
BSN preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
BLS required
ACLS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications required within 90 days of employment start date.
