Robert Half Staff Accountant in Post Falls, Idaho
Description
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry located in Post Falls, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the Accounts Payable and Receivable and assisting with Payroll. Experience with NetSuite will be a bonus. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable operations
• Assist with Payroll processing as needed
• Reconcile bank statements and perform general ledger duties
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
• Utilize NetSuite and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as required
• Collaborate with other members of the accounting department to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and timely
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to finance and accounting
• Assist in other accounting projects as needed
Requirements
• Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Prior experience with Bank Reconciliations is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in General Ledger management is essential.
• The candidate should be skilled in making Journal Entries.
• Experienced in performing Month End Close tasks.
• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a must.
• Must have experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role in the Accounting department.
