TEG Federal Credit Union Collections Administrator in Poughkeepsie, New York

This role combines collection duties and operational/ administrative functions to assist in preserving the credit union’s assets by controlling delinquent loan and negative balances. As the Collections Administrator, you will be responsible for working with delinquent members to setup payment arrangements, recommend workout solutions, assist with GAP, VSI, and debit protection claims, and processing payments and recoveries from various sources. What You’ll Do as the Collections Administrator (Responsibilities): Contact delinquent and negative accounts by phone, mail, or in person Handle incoming calls; speak with members and employees to answer questions and resolve problems Take appropriate action to bring accounts current/positive and to protect credit union assets Perform Skip Tracing functions Post recoveries to charged off accounts Run administrative reports and prepare end-of-month charge off files Submit GAP, VSI, Life, Disability & Involuntary Unemployment claims Serve as liaison between dealership, insurance company, and/or attorneys Perform other administrative and operational functions for the department Pay: $20 - $25 / hour, based on experience APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
