Oracle Cloud Platform Senior Software Engineer in PRAGUE, Czech Republic
Job Description
Autonomous Operations Platform team is looking for a Software Engineer to join and work with our productive group to implement, optimize and maintain Cloud Operations CI/CD platform to meet the needs of our organization and customers.The role will involve being hands on with a focus on the availability and reliability of some of our most critical services whilst obsessively automating away operational burden.You will also be supporting development teams as they build new services or migrate existing workloads to our CI/CD platform in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and manage cloud-based infrastructure* Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions* Modify and improve components of existing CI/CD platform* Provide code and peer reviews* Perform root cause analysis* Produce well-designed, testable, and maintainable software
Skills:
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, preferably Oracle OCI)
Knowledge of Linux, Security and Networking
Proficient in scripting languages eg Python, Terraform, Java or similar
Exposure or understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Exposure or understanding of containerization platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift or Rancher
Experience designing and working with fault tolerant, highly available, high traffic/throughput, distributed, scalable systems
Keen to cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation and bringing industry standards to everything we do

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
