Core responsibilities

  • To proactively seek out and develop insights that support theLong-TermDemand Planning team in producing a moreaccurateforecast for both consumer sales and selling in through: defining the question,identifyingthe relative data sets, conducting comprehensive analysis; Collaboratively seeking insights; Forming committed conclusions; Developing clear and concise visuals for communication; Driving alignment behind actions

  • This will require strong capabilities in understanding the senior audience (General Managers and Market Group heads), being able to position the insights in an audience relative fashion andacquiringalignment for change from this senior audience based on the insights.

  • Topics could include:

  • ​Ad hoc business performance – product deep dives, category trends, competitive activity, etc.

  • Analysis of statistics – past stat performance, drivers of changes, reliability of adoption, etc.

  • Investment analysis - understanding baseline sales and promo impact (in partnership with Finance/RegionalCommercialDevelopment)

  • External impactors – macroeconomics, global events, political instability, etc.

This position can be based in London, UK or Prague, Czech Republic. No relocation assistance is offered.

Play part in your team succeeding

The team you supportis responsible forforecasting thelong-termhorizon for bothsellin and consumer sales in Western Europe and CEEMEA Market Groups within the EMEA region. These Forecasts are a key part of understanding our business potential andidentifyingthe areas that need focus versus our commercial ambitions.

To build credibility in the forecast it is important that we consider outstanding contributing factors, their validity, and potential impact on our business. Although the demand planning teams review many factors when building the forecasts there is a need for a more comprehensive view on several broader topics. This role will develop acentralizedanalysis and relevant communication strategy that can beleveragedtoacquirealignment from senior leadership to changing the forecast.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strongdemonstrated experiencefroma similar rolewithin Demand Planning, Business Intelligence/Business Insights preferably from theRetail/CPG/FMCGenvironment

  • Strong data analysis and insights development skills withdemonstratedability tosynthesizelarge data sets into concise and clear insights.

  • Ability to understand senior leaders to develop and deliver convincing communication motivating change.

  • Advance Excel skills and big data set sourcing/compilation.

  • The ability to distill complex data into key visuals that are telescopic for the reader to zoom in on the key insight.

  • Strong interpersonal abilities and comfort level in working with senior managers across the company.

  • Excellentorganizationalskillswith theability toprioritize.

  • Good commercial competence.
