Technical Operations

Head of Plasma Center Operations in the Czech Republic and Hungary in collaboration with the BioLife Europe Plasma Center Leadership Team; Coordination of Czech and Hungarian plasma centers; Decisions on implementation of overarching procedures in consultation with the members of the leadership team; direct leadership of plasma center managers, head physicians, and other direct reports; recruiting, development, and motivation of members of the Czech/Hungarian plasma center leadership team.

Tasks:

1.

Responsibility for operational leadership of 11 plasma centers in the Czech Republic and 3 in Hungary.

Disciplinary leadership of directly reporting team members.

Support of decision making in the leadership team.

Responsible for planning, training, assignment, leadership, and motivation of team members.

2.

Responsibility for assuring a safe work environment and compliance with all pertinent safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibility for compliance with internal, national and international quality regulations to assure product quality.

3.

Organisational and administrative leadership to assure on time completion of duties in the area of responsibility.

Creation and assurance of availability of personnel, rooms, and technical conditions for the successful completion of the area’s tasks.

Responsibility for the continuous improvement in the area of responsibility, initiation and coordination of operational excellence activities.

Responsibility for initiation, control, and decision about overarching marketing activities.

4.

Member and active participation in the BioLife Leadership team.

Coordination with local representatives of suppliers.

Representation of the area of responsibility internally and externally (e.g. inspections, audits)

Responsibility for continued educations and development of the job holder himself and the employees in the area of resposibility.

Participation in congresses, symposiums, and customer oriented events.

Active cooperation in expert committees and panels internally and externally.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum: High-school diploma

Preferred: University Degree in Business Administration

Experience: Several years of experience in leading of larger organizations, preferably in an international environment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Serveral years of experience in leadership of teams and organizations

  • Fluent in Czech and English, good command of Hungarian of advantage

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good at working with people of diverse backgrounds

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Strong quality and service orientation

  • Very good IT-userknowledge (Standard office software)

TRAVEL: Willing to travel frequently between plasma collection centers in CZ and HU and occasionally to Vienna/AT

RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for budget of organization
