MAJOR DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES: The following EXAMPLES OF DUTIES are NOT intended as a comprehensive list of job functions/duties performed by individuals assigned to this classification. Incumbents may not be required to perform all duties listed and/or may be required to perform additional, position-specific, duties. Receives inquiries via telephone or in person and responds based on knowledge of policies and procedures for processing court documents and orders; receipts payments from various sources; checks documents for validity and accuracy of information, posts accounting transactions to computer ledgers, reviews and validates proper handling of accounting transactions within designated limits; disburse restitution, bond refunds, court ordered funds and process refunds; enter dockets into case management system, compile and send correspondence. Verifies accuracy of data entry; enters, retrieves, corrects and updates data in the court management system; retrieves files and documents; receives and processes court related documents; enter fines, fees and restitutions into the Court Management System (CMS). Provides customer service in person and by phone; responds to requests for information and attempts to resolve them by researching files and records within scope of authority; updates, retrieves and releases information according to procedures; Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Expectations: Follow written and verbal instructions, maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Arizona Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees, as well as Clerk of Court and Yavapai County policies. Establish, communicate and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees of other departments, representatives of other agencies and the public. Remain current in knowledge of office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as accounting software, spreadsheets, databases and Microsoft Office Suite. Remain in a sitting position for extended periods of time. Occasional travel as needed.
