Savage Services has a new opportunity for an Operations Supervisor at our Energy Terminal near Price, Utah.

Primary responsibilities
Regularly attend and contribute to meetings with team members and operation leadership.
Manage and preplan accordingly for shift changes.
Complete Daily equipment and MSHA shift inspections.
Fulfill training responsibilities.
Operate Heavy Equipment.
Assist with worksite tasks "outside of operating equipment" including but not limited to hand labor, repairs, equipment maintenance, and general worksite clean-up.
Operating within established S7 measures and committing to safety at all times.
What you'll need:
Established leadership and industrial experience, multiple years is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to Communicate effectively, and managed assigned duties to team members.
Demonstrates worksite dependability by being punctual and present for scheduled work shifts.
Experience in collaborating and building team relationships.
Committed to workplace safety including wearing appropriate and required PPE and following established safety protocols and guidelines.
Ability to work Holidays and weekends if required.
Willingness to help with all worksite duties that require consistent attention, as directed by the site operations manager.
Physical Requirements:
Must be willing to work outdoors in varying conditions subject to all elements.
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs.
Climb on and off railcars and heavy equipment and tie processing equipment safely.
Work 40 plus hours. (possible weekends)
Work on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time while performing duties which include walking, standing, and lifting.
Able to use basic hand tools.
