We are currently seeking a skilled security systems technician to become part of our expanding group of companies. Part time Sub-contractor or In-house employee position available.
Responsibilities:
Install and repair DSL, Home Security systems as well as outdoor all weather type cameras/monitors.
Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual and CCTV; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, labeling, testing and reporting per specifications and drawings
Perform electrical work as required, this could include:
Install grounding and bonding
Install EMT and flex conduit pathways when required
Install devices such as card readers, door contacts, access control panels
Install 120V power wiring
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong mechanical and technical skills
installation skills (vehicles, buildings, towers)
assembly skills, custom circuit wiring
soldering and de-soldering skills
surface mount skills
Ability to complete the require paperwork
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Ability to handle physical workload, working from Heights in various weather conditions.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Complete and keep proper documentation and records.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Comply with established company policies, procedures and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to work individually with little supervision, as well as in a team.
Must have good knowledge to install and activate the latest security equipment available on the market.
Wage/salary will be based on experience .
