Somerset County Commissioners Correctional Officer in Princess Anne, Maryland
The Correctional Officer I position is entry level correctional work in maintaining order and discipline and supervising the activities of inmates on an assigned shift in the detention facility. This position requires successful completion of the Correctional Training Academy. Starting salary is $40,273.00 for an un-certified officer. Once the officer completes the academy, the salary will go to $48,324.00. Requirements:Must be at least 21 years of age, with a High School Diploma or Equivalent, and possess a valid driver's license.
