If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3PM – 11PM, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.
If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11PM – 7AM, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Computed Tomograhpy Technologist to join our CT department at our M Health Fairview Northland Hospital location in Princeton, MN.
The CT Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).
Schedule : This is a 0.7 FTE (56 hours per 2 week pay period) position. The shift pattern is an evening/night 8-hour without a weekend rotation. It could include an occassional day shift, but the majority of the shifts are evening and night. with an every Friday night shift.. Being a smaller facility it is expected that the tech will be current in general x-ray to meet our ER and inpatient off hour needs when working the night shift.

Responsibilities Job Description
Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Performs examinations and identifies relevant data from images accurately
Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
Participates in creating a culture of patient safety
Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness
Verify patient identification and documentation
Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
Ensures patient data integrity and adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures
Accurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes
Follows infection control guidelines
Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members
Responds appropriately to emergent situations
Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution
Completed all require continuing education to uphold their imaging licensure
Participates as an active team member
Participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives
Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position
Cleans and maintains room and supplies
Provides integrated services with customers and care partners to ensure high quality care.
Contributes to a positive work environment.
Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines
Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properly.
Maintains a high level of competency
Accepts new technology as it’s introduced into the facility
Participates in Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendations
Qualifications
Required:
Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Basic Life Support from American Red Cross or American Heart Association and current before date of hire
Preferred:
1 or years of experience in a related role
Additional certifications in Imaging
