We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Sr. Commercial Manager to lead and manage key business functions, including Business Analysis and Reporting, Customer Service, and Supply and Demand Planning. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of business operations to drive growth, meet sales targets, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define the vision for the Commercial team and lead the team in achieving that vision:

  • Clarify the team's purpose, highlighting contributions they can bring to the organization, and articulate how those contributions will drive success.

  • Outline the key initiatives and strategies that will enable the team to fulfill its role effectively.

  • Business Operations Leadership:

  • Lead a team responsible for all aspects of business operations, including Demand & Supply SOP processes, financial forecasting (Budget, RAF, LE), order management, product allocation, and other general business operations.

  • Identify and implement innovative ideas and strategies to elevate and streamline business operations in highly dynamic business environment.

  • Lead special projects that drive business growth and operational excellence.

  • Sales and Contract Management:

  • Drive short-term business activities to achieve monthly sales targets.

  • Lead the annual bid/contract cycle, working closely with Account Managers to negotiate key contracts with strategic partners like Galderma and KDC.

  • Lead initiatives to generate short-term business opportunities, such as addressing leakage and exploring white space for common ingredients.

  • Market and Product Expertise:

  • Master of market dynamics, customers, and products knowledges.

  • Understand the intricacies of product costs, cost drivers, supply chain dynamics, competition, and key value propositions for our products.

  • People Management:

  • Manage and develop team members, ensuring succession plans and career development plans are in place for each team member.

  • Other responsibilities:

  • Serve as a steward for regional interests, balancing the needs of both global and regional teams.

  • Oversee pricing management, including quotation approvals, MUFF (Minimum Unit Fill Factor), and periodic quotation clean-up processes.

  • Owner of the Commercial Guidelines, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects best practices.

You Bring:

  • Excellent understanding of market dynamics, products, supply chain, and competition in personal care industry.

  • Demonstrate sharp business acumen with the ability to make swift decisions in uncertain situations.

  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams as well as key stakeholder management in a global environment.

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing key contracts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Sales Management or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, supply chain management, or related fields.
