Your key responsibilities

  • Be an active member of the North America Taste Leadership Team, drive region talent development, strategy, achievement of key targets, and be the voice of the consumer within the team

  • Inspire, develop, mentor and lead the NA Consumer & Sensory Insights, Marketing & Creative Design teams in line with our values.

  • Work in strong partnership with Sales, Business Units and Creative teams to understand our customer’s business and the market to deliver on customer needs, strategic objectives and achieve financial targets

  • Develop and optimize the overall strategy across Consumer & Sensory insights, Marketing and Creative Design to identify opportunities, drive innovation, and promote dsm-firmenich technologies, brand and our value proposition

  • Lead the execution of the NA consumer insight strategy in collaboration with the Global Human Insight team, lead compelling content strategy in line with the overall strategy and brand design strengthing our communication strategy (including digital), drive the development of market-place trends and insights

  • Help lead NA Taste accounts in brief-related marketing responsibilities, which will include but not be limited to:generating insight driven, client/brand relevant trends and proposals, providing sensory input for product development and ensuring deliverables

    You bring

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related area with 10+ years of Marketing and/or Consumer Insight Experience

  • Proven track record as an inspirational and entrepreneurial leader to influence, develop and mentor teams to achieve results

  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record in strategy development and execution and contributions to sales growth

  • Strong food and beverage category, consumer trend and CPG knowledge

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, project management, organizational and digital skills

  • Travel up to 30% if needed
