Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior AFFERA™ Therapy Account Consultant to join our team to further drive the growth of the business.

As a Sr Technical Consultant - Affera you will be tasked with providing expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and Electrophysiology Lab staff on the optimal use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation system and related equipment (Generators, SW functionalities, pump and accessories).

For this role, you will be expected to be located in Prague, Czech Republic.

A Day in the Life

• Providing in-service training to introduce new technologies to various hospital stakeholders and ensuring that the technology is accepted.

• Playing an active role in the planning and effective installation of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System and efficiently collaborating with the technical department.

• Working closely with the education team and supporting with the development of training centers.

• Working with Field Service Engineers on technical troubleshooting.

• Planning cases and defining priorities to maximize case coverage.

• Providing feedback to Marketing on system utilization and participating in new product development (NPD) discussions.

• Staying abreast of all product information across the Medtronic CAS portfolio, instructions for use (IFU) and relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information. 

• Participate in regular territory reviews in the account team with the Sales Manager.

• Updating and documenting activities in the CRM tool.

• Participating in regional and occasionally international congresses, symposia and workshops.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/medical engineering or related scientific discipline.

• 3+ years of clinical EP experience.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures.

• Fluency in Czech & English.

• Ability to work in a team and willingness to be flexible and travel as required.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to use standard MS Office programs.

• Ability to work in EP Labs and to achieve vendor credentialing.

Nice to Haves

• IBHRE or equivalent certification.

• Fluency in other European languages.
