Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Third Party Medical Account Analyst is to support the Third Party Medical Account Management team to reduce bad debt, eliminate legal risk, and help ensure compliance to all federal/state requirements and CVS Health obligations. The TP Medical Analyst will be responsible for performing trend analysis on payer exceptions, liabilities, reviewing reports and current procedures, identifying issues, recommending/implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance. The TP Analyst will work closely with Third Party Medical Account Management team, as well as other internal and external partnerships for the implementation of process enhancements resulting in short/long term resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior work experience from 1 to 3 years (retail pharmacy, PBM, banking/health insurance claims processing, analyst preferred)

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail, accuracy and follow through.

  • Ability to work individually or with a team to systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement practical, cost-effective solutions. Ability to frame recommendations and formally present them to management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop open and trusted relationships across the organization (Directors, Managers, Colleagues, and external entities) to drive decisions.

  • Ability to work in strict confidence, ensuring the confidentiality of patient and medical and financial records, at all times, in compliance with company and HIPAA Privacy guidelines.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment, quickly making sound decisions and the desire to seek continued professional growth.

  • MS Operating Systems and MS Office applications (such as MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

  • Structured Query Language (SQL) skills (MicroStrategy or other data mining tools).

  • Think creatively, make intelligent decisions, and be a self-starter with limited guidance, coaching and to proactively develop and present potential solutions.

  • Ability to complete routinely assigned work based on productivity standards (SLA) with minimal supervision

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
