General Responsibilities

The Applications Analyst is responsible for implementing enterprise resource planning systems in companies to improve efficiency and business processes. They must assess client needs, design customized solutions, coordinate the software implementation, and train staff in its use. Additionally, the ERP Consultant must provide ongoing support and stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in the ERP field.

General Responsibilities:

•Lead or assist in the implementation of ERP systems, including installation, configuration, and customization according to client requirements.
•Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions within the ERP framework.
Technical Customization:
•Develop and customize ERP reports, dashboards, and generic inquiries to meet specific client needs.
•Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes within the ERP system.
Integration and Data Migration:
•Integrate ERP systems with other software applications, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
•Plan and execute data migration tasks, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during the transition to the ERP platform.
•Provide technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to ERP installation, configuration, and data management.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems faced by clients.
•Conduct training sessions for clients' technical staff, educating them on ERP system functionalities, technical customization, and SQL usage.
•Create comprehensive technical documentation, including installation guides, customization manuals, and SQL query libraries for clients' reference.
Performance Optimization:
•Monitor and analyze ERP system performance, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
•Optimize system configurations, database structures, and SQL queries to enhance overall ERP system performance.
•Plan and execute ERP system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
•Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as applying patches, updates, and security fixes to keep the ERP system up-to-date and secure.
 

 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

 

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration - Computerized Information Systems or Accounting,
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience working with ERP Implementations or equivalent.
 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

• ERP Systems: In-depth knowledge of specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics) and their technical aspects, including installation procedures, customization frameworks, and reporting tools.
•Database Management: Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL scripting for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
•Integration Technologies: Familiarity with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and middleware for connecting ERP systems with other applications.
•Data Migration: Experience in data migration strategies, ETL processes, and data cleansing techniques to ensure accurate and efficient data transitions.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and customization guides.
Skills:
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in ERP installation, configuration, and customization. Proficiency in SQL scripting for complex data operations and reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to explain technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Project Management: Basic project management skills to plan and execute ERP implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
•Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and external partners to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking to analyze client requirements, design technical solutions, and optimize ERP system performance.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest ERP technologies, tools, and best practices in the technical domain.
 

 

Additional Information

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 6:00 pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
