About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT FPI Technician (Level 2 Certified) to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our turbine components through meticulous non-destructive testing.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on a wide range of turbine components in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.
Utilize various NDT equipment and techniques to detect surface defects and ensure component integrity.
Accurately document inspection findings, including photographs and detailed reports.
Interpret and analyze FPI results to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain detailed records of all inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.
Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by adhering to strict safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Level 2 certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) from a reputable certifying body.
Proven experience in performing FPI inspections on aeroderivative turbine components.
Excellent understanding of NDT principles and methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience with other NDT methods such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) or Eddy Current Testing (ECT).
Knowledge of aeroderivative turbine operations and maintenance.
