About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NDT FPI Technician (Level 2 Certified) to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our turbine components through meticulous non-destructive testing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on a wide range of turbine components in accordance with established procedures and industry standards.

  • Utilize various NDT equipment and techniques to detect surface defects and ensure component integrity.

  • Accurately document inspection findings, including photographs and detailed reports.

  • Interpret and analyze FPI results to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Maintain detailed records of all inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.

  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by adhering to strict safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Level 2 certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) from a reputable certifying body.

  • Proven experience in performing FPI inspections on aeroderivative turbine components.

  • Excellent understanding of NDT principles and methodologies.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with other NDT methods such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) or Eddy Current Testing (ECT).

  • Knowledge of aeroderivative turbine operations and maintenance.
