Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managers who have responsibility across multiple job families (eg. Quality Assurance & Quality Control). Have direct reports (or dotted line reports). Should be used for regional or product line scope.

  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

  • Plays an active role in the establishment of QMS and sustenance.

  • Builds up the audit plan.

  • Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.

  • Check defects/issues while running assembly line (in-production QC)

  • Identify & resolve supplier issues.

  • Identify & resolve process quality issues.

  • Act as SPOC for customer inspection /feedback for Renewable Business

  • Manage process improvement projects using GEMBA principles.

  • Lead HPT for Renewables Assembly line & coach team

  • MRB & RTV , Losses / COQ reduction and improvement

  • Driving improvement projects with CFT’s

  • Mentor & coach people on the frontline.

  • Multiskilling

  • Resolution of Supplier issues incoordination with Vernova's Supplier Quality Engineering Team

  • Authority to issue response to customer's queries & observations

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires basic experience in the Quality & Quality Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • 1 - 5 Years Experience in manufacturing, production or quality.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Extensive communication with Customer representative.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Product Knowledge

  • Interpreting Engineering Drawings

  • Knowledge of PLM (product Lifecycle Management Software & Corella Software.
