Senior engineering leader for business intelligence in specific and multiple engineering managers from the vendor - resourcing channel in Asia in general. Considered a culture driver and responsible to support our values for their function. Nurture our leadership practices among the people manager and people resourced from the vendor across multiple teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Focus is on the success of the team/function, balancing obtainment of short and long term goals. Responsible for delivering against goals within budget. Advocates and positively impacts the success of our people

  • Establishes clear goals, provides direction, and allows others to determine how to realize the plan

  • Champions engineering roadmaps across the department with product counterparts while reducing significant technical debt

  • Manages cross-functional projects with leaders from ideation to completion

  • Identifies opportunities to introduce long-lived processes and frameworks to guide work while providing autonomy

  • Identifies inefficiencies in end-to-end system design while facilitating cross-department architecture

  • Establishes coding standards across multiple teams. Builds proof of concepts to prove out and discusses changes to code or technologies

  • Pragmatically applies testing philosophy across multiple teams, championing and facilitating department-wide test strategy

  • Establishes open, trusted and collaborative relationships throughout the organization, owning the alignment across the organization

  • Grows managers and our people, constantly raises the bar, improves the function operations, and collaborates across teams

  • Coaches and manages others through challenges, leading with empathy

  • Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data

  • May be assigned other duties

  • Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; professional certification preferred

  • Over 5 years of people management experience and 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry

  • Solid technical background to understand the complexities of software development projects, evaluate technical solutions, and guide the teams effectively

  • Solid leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams, resolve conflicts, and set clear goals

  • Proven highly skilled in coordinating with vendors and different resourcing teams, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and maintaining a positive working relationship

  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional roles and other teams and communicating with stakeholders

  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of regional nuances to foster a collaborative and inclusive global work environment

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

  • Proven high level of ethics, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in healthcare-related projects or working within a healthcare organization
