DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Performs routine and repetitive tests, set-ups, and calibrations to support Instrumentation Engineering activities. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining complex emission systems, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with various internal teams to uphold quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and repetitive tests, set-ups, and calibrations on test equipment and systems.
Install terminals, fabricate, and assemble electronic systems, harnesses, and test cells.
Construct and install test cell harnesses, rigs, and fixtures, including minor mechanical system assembly.
Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as gauges, transducers, heat exchangers, cooling systems, and fuel system measurement rigs.
Operate data acquisition systems, ensuring accurate data collection.
Use tools such as digital multimeters, soldering irons, function generators, and frequency generators.
Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and execute written test plans.
Interface with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions to support testing requirements.
Participate in quality procedure maintenance, continuous improvement projects, and self/team audits.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintaining a 5S and safety-oriented environment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Experience:
Some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to emission equipment (e.g., Horiba Mexa, AVL SPC478, PN counter, FTIR).
Strong focus on ensuring test correctness and maintaining data integrity.
Ability to support operations across 3 shifts, including Sundays and holidays.
Experience in performing preventive maintenance and calibration of emission systems according to a scheduled plan.
Proactively monitor and improve emission system uptime.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S).
