Red Hat Salesforce Devops Engineer in Pune, India
About the Job:
The Red Hat IT team is looking for a DevOps Engineer for Salesforce to join our team. In this role, you will work as part of the Platform Operations team specializing in Salesforce. You will focus on DevOps processes and tooling, platform health, integrations and connections that relate to Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and other stakeholders within Red Hat. You'll provide technical insight and guidance as a customer relationship management (CRM) expert. As a Salesforce DevOps engineer, you’ll need to be motivated with excellent communication skills and technical expertise and the ability to work under dynamic circumstances. You will be expected to be able to provide best practices and recommendations for Salesforce platform health to various project and delivery teams.
What will you do?
Salesforce systems implementation and hands-on configuration experience
Interpret and refine requirements and user stories
Explore solutions to issues using system base functionality or, as a last resort, customization
Understand the DevOps pipelines and processes and touchpoints between various systems
Assess change impact and guide impact analysis and project estimation activities
Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business systems, and perform functional and second-level technical support as needed
Work directly with Salesforce technical account management on proactive monitoring and system health
Build and maintain documentation of DevOps processes
Partner with other development teams and use acquired knowledge of Salesforce DevOps and related applications to analyse current business processes, suggest improvements, and participate in the implementation of new functionality
Work with the internal readiness and training organization to ensure new functionality is clearly documented and is reflected accurately in training materials
What will you bring?
3–5 years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering a CRM application; 3+ years of Salesforce experience is required
Experience in a business systems analyst or equivalent role working with complex application development projects, preferably in a global organization
Solid analytical skills, particularly in the areas of data analysis and system integration
Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating technology tools into a client solution
Experience working on an enterprise grade Salesforce platform
Experience deploying Salesforce applications to sandbox and production organizations
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in information systems or similar, or equivalent business experience
Salesforce administrator certification is a plus
Knowledge of DevOps concepts like continuous integration and delivery, source control, and monitoring
The following are considered as plus:
Experience with Salesforce deployment platforms such as DX@Scale/flxbl, SFX-hardis
