Sensata Technologies, Inc. Technical Project Manager, Enterprise Information Management (EIM) in Pune, India

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) in the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to data management, analytics and reporting enhancements. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

  • Ability to change the delivery mode of existing projects through Agile process.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders or IT Business Partner team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly.

Team Coordination:

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and IT professionals, to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Facilitate team meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive project progress and resolve issues.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.

  • Monitor project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.

  • Implement best practices and standards for data management, analytics, and information governance.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data management and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant work experience. A master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in technical program management or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and information governance principles.

  • Proficiency in project management tools

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

  • Experience with enterprise data management systems and tools.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and data analytics tools.
