Contingent Upon Contract Award

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal justice and law enforcement, with extensive experience in researching, analyzing, and updating criminal history databases, statistics, and reports. The Security Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of criminal indexing submissions, biometric collections, and dispositions. This position requires a deep understanding of Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and the ability to review, assess, and archive administrative and criminal history incidents and investigations.

Requirements:

  • Experience researching, analyzing, and updating criminal history databases, statistics, and reports.

  • Experience identifying and correcting errors in criminal indexing submissions, biometric collections, and dispositions.

  • Experience reviewing, assessing, and archiving administrative and criminal history incidents and investigations.

  • Experience with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and in law enforcement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of criminal justice information systems.

  • Experience in a law enforcement agency or similar environment.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant and specialized experience in law enforcement or criminal justice.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Current Secret Clearance (T3-T3R) is required.

  • Proficiency in using and maintaining criminal justice databases and systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Telework with 2 days a week in office in the National Capital Region (NCR) area.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
