GENERAL DUTIES

Performs highly-skilled laboratory functions and other technical duties in support of coursework.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

Reporting to the department chairperson, the Adjunct College Laboratory Technician will perform highly skilled laboratory functions and other technical duties in support of the Jackson and Muriel Lum Nursing Resource computer Laboratory facilities at Queensborough Community College.

In addition to the General Duties, the Adjunct CLT will perform the following:

Setup, administer, and proctor Examsoft and other Nursing online programs.

Update the computer programs and testing programs.

Assist new incoming students with the registration and implementation of online programs.

Maintain required documentation related to laboratory activities.

Setup computer equipment in specific labs, troubleshoot computer technical issues as needed.

Maintain a friendly, supportive atmosphere for students, staff, and faculty

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma with a minimum of four years related experience. Additional education may be used to meet the experience requirement: an Associate degree may be substituted for two years experience, and a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years experience.

COMPENSATION

$31.22 - $33.76 per hour.

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
