Description
Comunilife Inc.is looking for an experiencedAssistant Program Director for itsSanctuary program in Queens, Casa Hope.As a member of the Comprehensive Case Management (CCM) Team, The Assistant Program Director is responsible for assisting in the daily administrative and clinical oversight of social services program operations including staff supervision and collaboration with on-site building manager at the Casa Hope Program. With collaboration with the Program Director he/she is responsible for daily program operations, working with funders, data collection and reporting, meeting all government regulations and deliverables, quality provision of services, and budget management. He/She will lead the team in proving a full range of case management services as well as medical, psychiatric, recreational and housing focused activities. The primary goal is to help individuals achieve stable permanent housing and connect them with appropriate services. Tues.-Sat 9am-5pm
Essential Duties:
Responsible for assisting the Program Director with the recruitment, training, and supporting of social service staff: corrective actions as needed
Responsible for assisting the Program Director with developing and managing program budget
Work with organization leadership and departments throughout Comunilife to ensure quality provision of services in a safe and stable environment
Meet and exceed contract deliverables, work with DHS and other government bodies to ensure attainment of contractual obligations and compliance
Ensure ongoing staff training on client care issues, agency policies, best practices, and arrange for outside training as needed
Liaison with on-site and off-site medical and psychiatric providers
Respond to and manage crises as needed
Work closely with DHS and other funders to achieve deliverables, adhere to all regulations and standards, and maintain/increase funding
Complete funder reports on an ongoing and timely basis
Facilitate standardization of program policies and procedures, including orientation and onboarding materials Prepare for all internal and external audits, including creating, executing and reviewing Corrective Action Plans
Ensure quality service provision including the utilization of evidenced based practices for client centered services
Facilitate implementation of standardization of data collection methods, tracking, analysis and reporting of data. Use data analysis to adjust programming as needed.
Ensure data management is tied to funder deliverables, housing, Social Determinants of Health, and health outcomes
Collaborate with Building Manager, Security, Food Service, and Maintenance companies to ensure safety of all residents in a well maintained environment
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirement(s)
LMSW /LCSW or LMHC strongly preferred, Master's Degree in related field may be considered with significant relevant experience
Experience with recent immigrant population and asylum refugees required
Management/Supervisory experience required
Experience with transitional or supportive housing required. Excellent communication skills; computer literacy. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
