JOB REQUIREMENTS: Himin Industrial Services Inc. (Racine, WI) seeks a Mechanic to conduct routine maintenance and repairs on entire systems for poly wrapping, paper wrapping, co-mailers, and mailing inserters. Specific duties include: identifying and repairing broken or malfunctioning components; identifying and troubleshooting timing-related issues, such as misalignment, delays, or inconsistencies in the operation of the separation units; executing mechanical timing adjustments on the separation units according to equipment specifications and operational requirements; performing regular cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of parts associated with the specified equipment to prevent wear and maintain peak performance; preparing surfaces of industrial machinery and equipment for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers to ensure optimal adhesion; applying paint, varnish, or other finishes to equipment using brushes, rollers, or spray gun; operating heavy machinery, including forklifts, and specialized moving equipment, to relocate heavy equipment and motors within the facility; disassembling equipment to remove parts for repairs, and proficiently reassembling after inspections, testing, or maintenance activities; examining components for defects, running diagnostic tests, and analyzing results to diagnose and address malfunctions in poly wrapping, paper wrapping, co-mailers, and mailing inserters; maintaining records of repairs and maintenance performed on these specific equipment types, documenting parts used and services rendered; regularly monitoring the inventory of spare parts and materials, identifying low stock levels and placing orders for the required materials; demonstrating functions and features of the specified equipment to machine operators, providing necessary training and support.
