Robert Half Android Software Engineer in Radnor, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Android Software Engineer to join our team. Located in Radnor, Pennsylvania, you'll work in a dynamic environment where you'll be responsible for developing next-generation SDKs, tools, and applications that drive large-scale payment transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify complex software enhancement features and/or new software products.
• Improve the performance of existing software and debug difficult issues using a broad knowledge of technologies.
• Participate in and influence project teams to create working software.
• Lead code reviews and technical meetings, providing valuable input.
• Recommend new technologies that can help increase productivity.
• Contribute to project planning and estimates.
• Protect company proprietary and confidential information.
• Attend team meetings regularly to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and provide solutions to any issues.
• Interface with RESTful services and consume JSON or XML.
• Handle data security, encryption, compliance, and privacy laws. Requirements • Proven proficiency in Android Development
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira
• Experience in Backend Development
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking
• Knowledge of C++ programming language
• Experience in AB Testing
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in API Development
• Knowledge of CSS
• Experience in Defect Management
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in software engineering
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
