Human Resources Manager: PlanITROI, Inc. is a rapidly growing and seeking a highly-motivated, experienced HR Manager to join our new location in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and activities of the human resources department, including the recruitment process, managing onsite employee relations, providing performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.

In this position, you will be responsible for activities in recruitment and human resources for our two facilities, under operations, while working closely with Site Leaders, the Director tor of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, and the Executive Leadership Team. Your primary responsibilities will be to proactively drive culture through engagement, policies, and procedures aligning with the PlanITROI vision and mission. Facilitate performance management, training, and development process and work with management to address performance concerns or development opportunities. You will play a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships with all teammates while creating a positive and inclusive work environment, and handling all HR-related opportunities fairly and consistently.

As a suitable candidate, you should possess at least five years of experience in a human resources management position, preferably in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment. You should also have a thorough knowledge of HR best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. This is a hands-on, in-person role, requiring a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, background checks, drug testing, and onboarding.

  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

  • Implement HR policies and procedures, to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

  • Facilitate employee benefits programs and manage related inquiries or issues.

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions.

  • Facilitate performance management reviews, training, and development processes, and work with management to address performance concerns or development opportunities.

  • Partner with hiring managers to create, coordinate, and onboarding plans for all new hires.

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.

  • Manage training and development initiatives to ensure employee growth and retention.

  • Manage agency relationships, and make recommendations on agency agreements as needed.

  • Manage various administrative tasks, including managing HR systems, creating reports, maintaining records, etc.

  • Meet and exceed all HR and recruitment SLAs.

  • Track, measure, & report results via scorecards and scoreboards.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or like.

  • 5+ years of experience in an onsite HR Manager role.

  • Must have experience supporting a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment.

  • Must build and effectively manage relationships with internal leadership and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.

  • Must have experience conducting investigations, etc.

  • Must have experience in OSHA and ISO compliance.

  • Must have extensive full-cycle and high-volume recruiting experience.

  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.

  • Superior communication skills, written & verbal

  • Superior organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

  • Must have the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be an expert in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

  • Proficiency in ATS systems/ HRIS systems.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

  • AI Chat GPT experience for process improvement desired.
