Position Overview:
The Field Service Installation Representative is a pivotal role responsible for the lifecycle support of pharmaceutical isolators at various customer sites. This position involves disassembly, reassembly, installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofitting of isolator equipment. As a subject matter expert, you'll interact with both external customers and internal teams to ensure seamless project management and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with customers and internal teams for project coordination and management.
Manage project scope, spare parts identification, scheduling, and corrective actions.
Conduct client training on proper equipment operation and address post-installation queries.
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and requalification services.
Provide technical support and upgrades for specialty service products.
Create detailed work reports and mentor new team members.
Undertake site-specific technical training and handle assigned tasks as directed.
Key Requirements:
Completion of the US Academy or equivalent training.
Self-motivated with strong customer focus and communication skills.
Proficiency in PLC, basic electronics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
Experience in field service, particularly in pharmaceutical or laboratory equipment.
High attention to detail and adherence to SOPs and technical documentation.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 80%.
Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent in electro-mechanical technology, Life Sciences, or Engineering.
Technical training and prior experience in cGMP or regulated industries.
