Vontier Financial Modeling Senior Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina
Hybrid from Raleigh, NC - Must be on-site 2-3 days per week
Financial Modeling Senior Analyst, Focus & Prioritization Process (FPP) will have the unique opportunity to implement and drive one of the newest tools within the Vontier Business System (VBS) toolbox, FPP, sometimes also known as 80/20 methodology, Pareto principle, kaizen continuous improvement. FPP is Vontier’s holistic, data-based process designed to strategically assess business priorities, reduce business complexity, and focus resources on amplifying growth.
The successful candidate will interact daily with the senior leadership of Vontier and across its Operating Companies, gaining unique business insights and adding value by reducing non-value-added items which in turn frees up resources to make investments and support our best customers with our best products.
This role is key in helping Vontier focus on what really matters and achieve its targets by working smarter, not harder.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Work closely with the Vice President of FP&A and VBS and business leadership to update and develop the FPP roadmap.
• Work closely with the Operating Companies’ Financial leadership to establish and drive the right analytics and metrics.
• Align with the Strategy team on the right focus areas and metrics and assist in establishing the standard work and cadence to monitor progress.
• Serve as resident expert on FPP priorities, analytics, data sourcing, and data integrity.
• Run independently with other FPP analytics, exploring new areas of improvement, and challenging the status quo.
• Prepare and present the monthly results of the FPP initiatives to Vontier’s senior leadership.
• Assist the VBS Office leadership with Lean, Growth, and Leadership-related activities as required.
• Facilitate training and other learning activities for employees across all levels of the operating companies on FPP and the VBS Fundamentals.
WHO YOU ARE
• MUST HAVE Direct experience using FPP or a similar process (e.g., 80/20, Six Sigma) to evaluate data to define opportunities.
• 4+ years of hands-on relevant experience in a publicly traded, industrial global organization .
• Strong analytical skills and a passion to deep dive into business metrics and processes.
• Good experience in financial analysis, applying good financial knowledge and strong business acumen.
• Experience driving simplification and cost reduction activities, as well as commercially focused activities impacting profit and growth.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills required ( Access, SQL, or other Database experience desired).

The base compensation range for this position is $84,500 to $115,000 per year. Your base salary will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
