Honeywell Lead Sales Representative in Raleigh, North Carolina
As the Lead Sales Representative, you will oversee all facets of customer engagement for our Smart Energy Electric Utility organization, encompassing both existing and prospective clients. Your role will involve cultivating relationships and gaining insights into customer businesses to deliver tailored products and solutions. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing sales and growth strategies for key accounts, ensuring alignment with essential business objectives. Additionally, you will identify opportunities and establish credibility with clients, leveraging your product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition.

With deep expertise in software and technology, we are dedicated to driving customer success. As a home-based representative for our Smart Energy Department, you will manage all aspects of engagement with both new and existing customers. Your role will involve building strong relationships, understanding customer businesses, and providing tailored solutions. You will define and execute sales and growth strategies for key accounts, aligning with essential business objectives. Leveraging your product knowledge, you will deliver compelling value propositions to customers and identify new opportunities to enhance our credibility.

YOU MUST HAVE
Post-secondary Education
Experience selling to electric utilities, preferably end-to-end AMI metering solutions
7+ years of experience in account management for electrical and utility metering, smart energy and smart city projects
Valid Driver’s License

Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management technical field
Excellent communication skills
Well organized and results-driven
Experience responding to complex RFPs for technical solutions involving products and services
Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization, including C-level
Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
Experience selling the value proposition for complex software and services solutions
Experience with electric and utilities preferred, including large utilities like ENMAX
Experience managing channel and distribution partners
Competency with Salesforce.com, or other CRM management tools
