Job Description
As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, development, and execution of our cloud infrastructure offerings. You will be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring our portfolio of cloud deployments leverage the latest technologies to gain a competitive advantage. Your expertise will be crucial in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of the company.
Qualifications:
Product Sense: Ability to understand the product, its users, and the market, and apply that understanding to inform product decisions and direction.
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies. Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and related services.
Strategic: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product plans. Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Customer Focused: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and translate them into product requirements. Experience in building strong customer relationships and advocating for the customer within the organization.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to drive decision-making. Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams. Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

Responsibilities
Strategy and Vision: Research the cloud infrastructure market, including emerging trends, competitor offerings, and industry practice. Define the short-term and long-term product vision, ensuring it aligns with the overall business strategy and goals.
Product Requirements: Define clear and detailed product requirements, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure a smooth product development process and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market demand, customer feedback, and business value. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to bring the product vision to life.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the cloud infrastructure space. Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure Oracle remains at the forefront of innovation.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and identify areas for improvement. Advocate for customer needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
Execution: Leading cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle. Participate in planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators and metrics to track the success and impact of cloud infrastructure offerings. Regularly analyze and report on product performance, identifying areas for optimization and driving continuous improvement.
Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader within Oracle. Share insights, best practices, and success stories through blogs, whitepapers, and other channels.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
