Robert Half Project Assistant in Raleigh, North Carolina

Description We are looking for a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team in the construction/contractor industry based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you'll work closely with the project manager, coordinate project schedules, and handle a range of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure smooth project coordination

• Actively follow up on project tasks and deadlines, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving skills

• Maintain organized records and efficiently manage administrative tasks to support the project team

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and timely completion

• Manage and process Certificates of Insurance, contracts, and related documentation

• Show willingness to undergo training in construction-related tasks

• Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills

• Display excellent communication and organizational abilities Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Project Coordination, offering assistance in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.

• Experience in Administrative Assistance is required, with tasks including filing, managing paperwork, and maintaining project documents.

• Must be adept at Coordinating Schedules, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of all construction projects.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective coordination and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

• Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite for efficient project tracking and reporting.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Must demonstrate problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in the face of project challenges.

• Must have a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all project-related documents and reports.

• Should have a strong understanding of construction industry standards and regulations for compliance.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.

• Must be open to learning and adapting to new technologies and tools in the construction industry.
