This retail position typically works5 days a week, either 9 am - 5 pm or 11 am - 7 pmand earns acompetitive hourly wageof$13.50 - $15 plus commission.     SALES ASSOCIATE / CUSTOMER SERVICE REP REQUIREMENTS

    As a Sales Associate, you cheerfully greet our customers and make them feel welcome when they come into our store. You are comfortable initiating conversations and motivated to help our customers to the best of your ability. By actively listening, asking questions, and utilizing your product knowledge, you are able to make recommendations and sell the appropriate products. To help keep our store organized and running efficiently, you stock inventory, unload deliveries, maintain pricing labels, and arrange product displays. You also have the chance to take your tinkering interest to the next level as you learn the technical skills necessary to assist with device repairs. No matter what our customers need help with, you are happy to help. You love interacting with customers and playing an important role in our stores' success!

    Essential Responsibilities

    Customer Service / Sales

  • Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions

  • Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals

  • Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers

  • Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy

  • Answer phones, ensuring messages are relayed

  • Watch for loss prevention issues and advise management of any unusual activities

  • Demonstrate a customer-first mentality

    Technical

  • Install batteries, perform tests and tech work

  • Able to rebuild cordless drill batteries and other battery packs as needed

  • Repair cell phones, tablets, light fixtures and other devices as needed

  • Replace screens, batteries and other components on smartphones and tablets

  • Cut keys and reprogram key fob remotes

    Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of

  • Must have technical aptitude and have the ability to work small parts and tools

  • Ability to make minor decisions and use some judgment within standardized procedures

  • Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus; general knowledge of customer service policies/procedures

  • Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills

  • Ability to calculate simple math, percentages, ratios and algebraic expressions and read gauges

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
