Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member. BS or MS degree with software project development experience.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will participate in the design, coding, debugging, optimize for performance of Oracle Smart View software including integration with providers such as Oracle EPM, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Strategic Financing, Hyperion Financial Close, Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and presentation layer infrastructure such as RESTful API. Our Technology stack includes C#, C++,COM, .NET, Office API, ATL,VB .NET, Java, Java Script, Office Web-Add-in java script API and Google App Script. We are looking for sharp individuals who are able to adapt the right technologies to solve enterprise business problems.

  1. Work with a talented team of developers and architectures who are all working to enhance and develop new modules within the product

  2. Work closely with QE teams throughout the full development lifecycle to ensure new features are perform ant and delivered with quality

  3. Participate in product design/product feature discussions both within engineering and with others in the company

  4. Perform in-depth analysis of performance issues to identify hotspots and opportunities for optimization

  5. Design and implement product optimizations to improve performance and scalability

  6. Specify, design, and develop test suites and come up with new benchmark scenarios (including micro benchmarks, and full system end-to-end benchmarks).

  7. Work directly with customers or with the Oracle field organization to address the product issues and escalations

  8. Develop demo or sample code or project for customers, partners or internal SCs.

  9. Willing to work on different types of Technologies (C#/C++/Java/Office Web Add-in/Google App Script)

Requirements:

  1. Strong proficiency in C# and C++, Can switch between these two languages as needed.

  2. UI development expertise in C# or C++.

  3. Windows API Programming.

  4. Experience with Windows networking APIs.

  5. Microsoft Office Add-in development.

  6. Office API programming in C#.NET with thorough knowledge with Excel, Power Point or Word APIs.

Following skillsets are Plus

  1. Project development experience with Java

  2. Knowledge of Networking and session handling.

  3. Office Web-Addin java script API knowledge and programming experience

  4. Experience with performance analysis and associated tools (profilers, load generators, etc.).

  5. JavaScript

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
