The Team Leader, Pathology Ref Lab is responsible for the processing and allocation of laboratory specimens and orders from all sources. Responsible for verification of patient/specimen identification, appropriateness of specimen and accompanying orders. Responsible for the daily organization of the Reference Lab section of the Clinical laboratory. Responsibilities include organization of daily workflow within the section, IS monitors related to reference lab, collaboration and communication with physicians, nurses, and outside reference lab agencies. Building reference lab tests and working with a variety of interfaces. Able to troubleshoot specimen or computer problems with minimal assistance. 2 Years Clinical - Phlebotomist Or Clinical - Clinical Laboratory Required - And 2 Years Clinical - Phlebotomist In Healthcare - Multi-Hospital System And Clinical - Clinical Laboratory - Specimen Processing Preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
