Hiring for Mechanical Assembler
Pay $20-21/hr(Based on Shift)
Job Description
A production company in Ramsey, MN is currently hiring for shift Mechanical Assemblers.
This company builds/manufactures workout/gym equipment including ellipticals, weight racks, tension weight machines (like a BowFlex) and many others. Employees are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks required to assemble, prep sub-assemblies, and move completed units.
There are 32 different machines they are responsible for assembling.
Work Environment
This is a manufacturing facility and is not air-conditioned, so it will get hot in the summer. Although this is the newest part of the building, it is fairly nice, very well lit with skylights, and organized. Employees are trained on multiple assembly lines and must be versatile. They work in an 'assembly pod' composed of roughly 3-4 people where they will assemble certain machines. They will learn one 'pod/cell' at a time and then cross-train into other areas. It is a very team-oriented environment.
