JOB REQUIREMENTS: Prairie Staffing has partnered with a manufacturer in Randolph, WI who is looking for temp-to-hire Packaging Techs. Pay rate starts at \$16/hr for with potential for increases in pay and responsibility. Mon-Wed 6am-6pm and Thur 6am-11:30am DESCRIPTION: Responsible for assisting in manufacturing and packaging of products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Fill and package manufactured products. - Label and palletize manufactured products. - Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and barrel handlers. - Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control. - Clean manufacturing equipment and manufacturing areas. - Recognize and report equipment maintenance needs to your supervisor and/or maintenance department. - Assist with physical inventories. - Maintain a clean work area at all times. - Document production data and information as requested by supervisor, including but not limited to time tracking. - Adhere to all safety rules and strictly adhere to PPE required to perform the job duties as outlined above. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma, GED equivalent or applicable experience in a manufacturing environment. Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience working with packaging machinery, in a food or feed manufacturing facility for a minimum of six months. LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Ability to read basic procedures and instructions written in English. Ability to write legibly in English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and averaging.
