Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer-CATIA
Job Description
Actalent is hiring a CATIA Mechanical Design Engineer for the ADAS department. Responsibilities include conducting design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, part specification, scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, and manufacturing of assigned products. Key tasks include drafting engineering solutions for assigned components or parts, confirming and tracking feasibility, costs, quality, and performance, presenting designs at team evaluations, preparing documents for evaluations, managing projects and suppliers, conducting customer and market studies of new technologies, and working under the guidance of sr engineers to meet layout, quality, cost, performance, and regulatory requirements. Travel may be required to other facilities and suppliers, not limited to North America.
Hard Skills

Product Design (sheet metal design, injection model, sheet metal design, stamping, and general part design)

Project and supplier management
Ability to work under guidance and present solutions

Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 2 Year(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Raymond, Ohio and some days remote.
Work Environment
A team of about 15 Designers in an R/D Environment.
