Act as Development Quality Project leader to perform the following duties: develop an overall quality maturation plan to provide mass production accessories which meet the design intent; create and present, for Executive judgment, projects Plan vs. Actual results at required development intervals; provide effective leadership for team members and other subordinates; responsible for the overall quality achievement and on time launch per development schedule. Act as responsible Lead Associate for each assigned Prototype part to perform the following duties: conduct root cause analysis and create improved Design proposals based on study (critical control point determination, countermeasure validation, initial cost /weight etc.); create detailed recurrence prevention proposal and execution plan; confirm Die Go criteria has been met; jointly confirm first off tool sample meets design specifications; conduct static and dynamic part evaluations during predetermined prototype Vehicle part installation events; and create detailed concern tracking and corrective action to ensure on time development.  10% travel to unanticipated domestic and international locations is required.

*Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Eng.; 2 yrs relevant professional exp; 2 yrs exp in automotive engineering; 2 yrs exp in process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA); 2 yrs exp in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA); 2 yrs exp with process quality control table (PQCT); 2 yrs exp in CATIA V5; 2 yrs experience in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T); 2 yrs exp in DOE/Prototype Development; 2 yrs exp in advanced product quality planning (APQP); 2 yrs exp in statistical process control (SPC); and 2 yrs exp in production part approval process (PPAP).
