Job Purpose

Manage Operations to maximize safety, quality, and improve long-term profitability in order to maximize customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities

Establish and maintain measurement systems to evaluate performance and business needs. Provide direction to a varying number of people, including Shift Supervisors, Crew Leads, Process Engineers, Process Technicians, Crew Members, and Engineering/Maintenance.

Work with Sales & Scheduling to meet customer and company needs and maximize profitability.

Develop and implement department plans. Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are identified and acted on.

Drive improvement in Safety, housekeeping and 5-S. Proactively correct safety risks

Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

Identify process improvement areas. Troubleshoot and prioritize quality issues and customer concerns. Coordinate operation improvement projects that target safety, capacity, and manufacturing

Develop and communicate performance metrics

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Manufacturing Management

• B.S. Degree - Engineering or Science Field preferred.

• Knowledge of the Plastics industry.

• Excellent communication – written, verbal (one-on-one and groups).

• Good interpersonal skills - Team Player

• Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment.

• Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proficient with ERP systems and principles, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

• Exceptional decision-making skills to include problem identification, analysis and resolution.

• Proven Leadership skills.

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

  • The salary range for this position is $103,530 - $115,040. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
