Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Java/Drools/Angular/RDBMS) to join our team located in Readington Township, New Jersey. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Drools, Java, Angular, and RDBMS, and should be able to efficiently translate business needs into efficient technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-quality software applications using Drools, Java, and Angular.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Optimize application performance through profiling and fine-tuning.
Stay current with industry trends to recommend system improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
Collaborate with QA engineers to execute robust testing strategies.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Participate in Agile development processes.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in Java/Drools.
Proficiency in Angular, and expertise in reactive web applications.
Experience designing and developing Restful APIs and working with SOAP/REST.
Familiarity with Azure/AWS and Docker/Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL, and database design.
Experience with Git.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality code.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the insurance industry.
Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
Exposure to NoSQL databases.
Understanding of DevOps practices.
Relevant certifications in Java/.NET, or Angular.
