About the Role

To be successful in the role, we’re looking to expand our stable, growing team by adding a student with a professional demeanor, who’s willing to join our team for a 8-12 month term. The Engineering Student will be part of a unique work environment leveraging their learning and applying it in the manufacturing industry by supporting Badger’s Engineering Team with design projects as well as the manufacturing process.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and prepare engineering drawings and CAD models.

  • Assist with documentation and create drawing packages.

  • Learn from established Engineering professionals to increase your capacity in an advanced Manufacturing environment.

  • Collaborate with Production team to problem solve design improvements.

  • Respond to the shop floor's needs in response to addressing issues that may surface during production.

Qualifications

What You'll Need for Success

  • Enrolled as an Engineering Student with an accredited institute

  • Familiarity with CAD software (Solidworks preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of common software packages (MS Office, Acrobat, etc.)

  • Safe; you consider safety a personal value which factors in all your choices
